Invitation to Participate in Photo Contest “Faces of Diversity”

Human diversity is an obvious fact of life. People can be of different race, ethnicity, religion, social status, origin, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, (dis)ability, beliefs and convictions. Equality goes hand in hand with the acceptance of human diversity. However, our prejudices and stereotypes often limit our capacity to see unique people’s portraits and stories.

Professional and non – professional photographers are invited to participate in the photo contest and show Lithuanian society in its diversity. Selected images will illustrate the provision of the Law of Equal Treatment that equal rights and opportunities must be ensured to all irrespective of gender, race, nationality, citizenship, language, origin, social status, belief, convictions or views, age, sexual orientation, disability, ethnic origin or religion.
